Brittany Hunter

As A Marlin

Brittany was a Marlin for 12 years, joining her older brother and sister in 1991. Throughout her career, Brittany was one of the team's elite swimmers, excelling especially in the backstroke, butterfly and freestyle events. Over the years Brittany has established numerous individual and team records and graduated as a part of four record-setting short course relays and two record-setting long course relays. It takes one look at the team's all time Top 20 to see how much of an impact Brittany has had in each age group while on the team.
 Throughout her 12-year
 career with the
 Marlins, Brittany
 has led by example,
 always giving 100%
 at practice and in
 meets. Her ability
 to push herself to
 the limit was
 unparalleled in
 recent years.
This commitment earned Brittany the honor of team captain during her senior season. Brittany will attend Fairfield University, in Connecticut.

In High School

Brittany has also excelled at the high school level. She has earned three straight trips to the New York State High School Championships in the 100 yards backstroke and has earned All-League and All-Section honors each year.
During her senior season Brittany earned the coveted
Con-Edison Scholar-Athlete Award for her success in the pool and in the classroom. Brittany was a member of the National Honor Society.
Outside of the pool Brittany has excelled on both the soccer field and the Lacrosse field for Fox Lane High School.
