News Con Ed Award Winner for the week of October 17,
2009-
The Con Edison Athlete of the Week recognizes students
in Westchester and Putnam schools who excel
athletically.
Academic achievements, leadership, citizenship, school
and community activities are also factors.
The winner is selected each week by a panel of athletic
directors and coaches who review ballots submitted by
each athlete's athletic director or coach.

USA Swimming Adopts October 1st Ban on Full-Body Suits
-
At its annual Convention
on Saturday, over 400 USA Swimming Delegates,
representing swim clubs from all 50 states, voted
overwhelmingly for early implementation of a ban on
high-tech swimsuits. The legislation, which will go into
effect on October 1st, regulates swimsuits worn in all
USA Swimming–sanctioned competitions.

School. Kim was awarded the Anthony Sabella Scholarship at the 58th annual dinner held at
the Rye Town Hilton on Wednesday, June 3rd. This
scholarship is given for perseverance, dedication,
leadership and outstanding achievement! Kim was the
Con Edison Scholar Athlete of the
Week (November 15, 2008). |
